Is the gelatin in the fish oil capsules vegan/kosher? Does it come from a pig? Please let me know ASAP, because I'm allergic to Gelatin that comes from a pig.

Thanks for your comments. If you read my web page on fish oil capsules you'll see that most fish oil capsules are made of gelatin from an animal source. I'm not sure if the animal source is pig or cow. If you want to take fish oils and avoid the gelatin, you could try using a liquid fish oil. These come in a variety of flavors, such as lemon and orange, so you avoid that fishy taste common with the old fish oils of yesterday.

Maxi Health's Fish Oil Vegetarian caps
provide kosher fish oil that contains 1000 mg. fish oil in a kosher, vegetarian soft gel capsule made from potato starch. Thanks again for visiting and I hope this information is helpful.

by: Anonymous

Is it true that fish oil will make people fat for people who take the capsule for long-term? How many capsule should be taken per day?
