Using Oil of Oregano for Tooth Infection

I was told I needed a root canal and decided to try using Oil of Oregano to help fight any infection. I've been using 2 softgels of Solgar Wild Oregano Oil daily for two weeks. I decided to take it for at least a month or try higher doses as it appears to be working. Has anyone else prevented the need for root canal with use of this product?

Oil of Oregano Healed My Aching Tooth
by: Anonymous

I had a new crown put in about 3 years ago. About a month later it started giving me problems with pain and swelling so I made an appointment for the dentist and he said I would need a root canal.

I started taking a good grade of Oil of oregano by applying it right on the tooth and taking a few drops daily. When my appointment day came my tooth no longer hurt and there was no swelling and the dentist did not see the need to do a root canal.

Like I said that was 3 years ago and my tooth never bothered me again. Just make sure you use oil of oregano with a high carvacrol amount and is Mediterranean grown. There are many internet sites selling a good grade of oil of oregano, so research it and get a good price.
