Bladder infections, also called Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) is a common condition that affects millions of people.

Over 80% of bladder infections are caused by the bacteria Escherichia coli, or E. coli. As the bacteria flows through the urine canal (urethra) they can get inside the bladder and cause an infection.

Why would you want to use Oil of Oregano for bladder infections?

Well, Oil of Oregano contains carvacrol, a volatile oil and powerful anti-bacterial. Carvacrol was found to be effective against E. Coli, as well as other pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella. You'll find other health benefits from Oil of Oregano, from fighting parasites to stopping viruses, anti-fungal, and reducing free radical damage.

Although there are no studies on the 'right' dose of Oil of Oregano for bladder infections, here's some suggested Oil of Oregano Dosages that you may find helpful.

I've used oregano oil for many years for bladder infection, it works great. Just take about 5 drops every 4 hours. You should notice a difference after the two doses.
