Using Coconut Oil on Cellulite

I bought virgin coconut oil in the Dominican Republic and the tour guide said it was great for teating cellulite and all I had to do was (buy it, of course) and google 'coconut oil and cellulitus' to find out how to use it, but I have not found the instructions. Do you know about this or was I just once again taken by a sales pitch? Thank you.

Cellulite is a term used to describe that dimpled appearance of skin caused by fat deposits located just beneath the surface of the skin.

While there are many benefits of using coconut oil for skin care, such as skin softening and moisturizing, I don't believe you can use it to reduce the fat deposits under the skin.

There are no medical studies indicating coconut oil can penetrate the skin surface to reduce fat deposits located under the skin. However, you can still benefit from using this healthy oil for natural organic skin care.

I believe you're actually supposed to eat virgin coconut oil for it to work on cellulite. Not sure how much. I think a tablespoon daily.
