Oil of Oregano for Psoriasis

(Anonymous)

I was wondering if I can use Oil of Oregano for psoriasis. I've read people have had success with it. I get psoriasis on my face (as well as other areas ) and was wondering what's the best way to apply it?

Should it be diluted or used straight from bottle? How often should it be applied? I'm also planning to take it internally as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Using Oil of Oregano on Psoriasis
by: Kevin

The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) recognizes Oil of Oregano as a useful supplement for some people with psoriasis.

The NPF webpage on dietary supplements and psoriasis states:

"Many people have contacted the Psoriasis Foundation to let us know that use of oregano oil, either orally or topically, has helped their psoriasis...."

They don't state specific dosages but it appears people have used it topically or orally with success.

Hope this is helpful.

Kevin :-)

Treatment for Psoriasis
by: Anonymous

My daughter was born with severe psoriasis. After exhausting the doctors office I turned to homeopathic medicine. Freequeen Sea (phytoplankton cured my daughters psoriasis). In a matter of over night the red itchy patches and the soarness was going away. By the end of a week we had only a white patch where the red welts were. She continues to take it and feels great. Her skin never looked so good. As for Oil of Oregano, it helps with the pain and helps heal any open sores due to itching but the phytoplankton did it for us. **Happy Mom from Michigan**
