I have Committed to Eating Flax Seed Everyday for its Health Benefits

I eat the whole flaxseed as I need the fiber and for me the whole seed is more easily eaten as I enjoy the texture much more than an oil. When I have a few seeds stuck in between my teeth and chew on a seed later, I can taste the oil coming from the seed. It is one of the only things that I can count on in keeping me eliminating my food properly. I have pledged to eat it everyday as I know how many benefits it has. The list is numerous. I feel that I am doing my body a huge favor by giving it a non-animal source of oil that has the essential fatty acids that we need to function.

Eating Flaxseed Everyday

I also enjoy the benefits of whole flaxseed. I like to mix ground flaxseeds in my protein shakes, as well as mixing a tablespoon of flaxseed in my morning glass of orange juice. I think it's a great way to get a natural source of fiber and those healthy omega 3 oils from the seed.
