Flaxseed vs. Cod Liver Oil

by Laura

I'll be honest - It's all about the skin. I'm on the quest for the best, glowing skin I can get. I have average skin but I'm in my 40's. I've been taking flaxseed oil for months and haven't noticed improvement. I've read cod liver is amazing but I'm a vegetarian and the smell scares me. But I'll do it for my skin! I also use coconut oil on my skin topically. Thanks

Reply:Both cod liver oil and flaxseed oil are a source of omega 3 fatty acids. These fatty acids may help contribute to improving the health and texture of your skin. Virgin coconut oil may also help moisturize and soften your skin, thereby improving the look and feel.
